WeChat Advertising FAQ
Usually, yes. A Chinese business entity is only required for some industries.
On WeChat, advertising accounts are separate from Official Accounts.
You will need an Official Account first, which is something we can assist you with if you don’t already have one.
The minimum initial deposit is 7,000 CNY (~1,000 USD).
The minimum daily budget you can set is 100 CNY.
Where possible, Google’s Looker Studio is our preferred choice because the reports have convenient filters that make it easy to create custom reports on the fly.
We provide the data in Google Sheets, so you can use it however you like.
For larger/enterprise clients, we often create separate reports in other formats, such as PowerPoint.

For our campaigns, WeChat ads usually link to a landing page and form. This allows users to learn more about the offer and then contact your sales team.
WeChat ads can only link to external websites if that website has an ICP License.
They can also be linked directly to other WeChat properties, such as a WeChat Official Account, WeChat Channels (video account), or WeChat Mini Programs.
