Baidu recently published the top search terms of 2010. Here they are, along with approximate English translations. Stats are based on the total number of searches per keyword in 2010.

 | 4. 非诚勿扰 – “If You Are the One” is a hit Chinese dating show. Sinosplice has a good post on it. 5. google – Yep, Google is #5. “Baidu” is the #1 search term on Google in China. It would be interesting to see if users are searching for the other search engine first, or after a failed search. 6. 搜狗 – “Sougou” or “Search Dog” is another Chinese search engine. 7. 一起又看流星雨 – The second season of the Taiwanese TV show “Meteor Rain“. Check the Baidu search results and you’ll see that the full episodes are conveniently linked to.
